Hello, Your unit is so bright and clean. I was very impressed with the unit. You have selected a nice color for the walls and it makes the unit seem so bright and so Hawaiian. We have stayed on the second floor before, but your unit was hands down the nicer one. The last week of Oct was really beautiful, over 86 f every day. The fans you have worked out nicely. The A/C was only turned on once the entire week.

Thanks again, Hello again Ingrid – we would love to add a comment on your website. I’ll do it in the next day or so. I was reading some of the comments posted and related so much to the one about watching the sunset and the conch shells. Wayne and I would take our cocktail across to Kam III every evening and watch the sunset and listen to the conch’s sounding. We loved the way everyone would gather – it was almost kind of spiritual. We hated to miss ONE sunset – they were all so special.

Hi Ingrid: I also want to say how much we enjoyed #226. It really is a nice spot. I unfortunately only got to stay for 2 days as I had to go back for work. Debbie and Fred and Jeremy certainly enjoyed the rest of the days. I am going to make a point of saving your website so that we can contact you for next year. We never made it to Hana (long story but had something to do with the Tsunami) so we vowed to come back to Maui to get to Hana. Your 2 bedroom also looks fabulous along with your units at the Village by the Sea. I will be sure to let other friends and flight attendants with WestJet know about your places.

Dear Ingrid, Our daughter and husband joined us for a long weekend and were so impressed (they've always 'hoteled it') and loved the convenience of having the kitchen, access to laundry facilities, etc. We'll see you again - maybe not next year, we're planning a cruise to Alaska, but the year after for sure. We loved staying in your condo #307 at Village by the Sea. The condo is bright, spacious and had everything we needed, including a "beach closet" w/ a cooler, beach chairs and umbrellas. It was very handy to have the washer/dryer right across the hall from the condo and to have the central air conditioning (yet used the screens on the sliding doors in the evening, as well). If we had wanted to use the pull out couch or roll away bed we would have had ample room. The ocean view from both the living room and bedroom is gorgeous. We enjoyed the full sized table on the lanai where we ate our meals and watched the sunsets. Village by the Sea grounds were lovely. The pool, hot tub, children's pool, shuffle board and the HUGE outdoor grills w/ picnic tables make it such a nice place to get to know the other condo dwellers, if desired. The condo was quiet, the setting serene (the two buildings are angled toward the ocean and seem to block all outside noise). We were delighted to see that, as a special bonus, there is NO other building anywhere near the Village by the Sea on one side, so there is a large, spacious lawn, and a sweeping coastline there without buildings obstructing the view . We felt that staying in Kehei was perfect. It was close to all possible shopping, sightseeing, and only about 15 minutes from the airport. Since every beach on the island is public and free (even the ones in front of the most costly hotels) we were able to drive to many different ones during our stay for swimming, snorkling and exploring. We're glad we found your web site online! Others will enjoy it as we did!

Hopefully Debbie found everything in order. We thought the accommodations were wonderful. The condo is bright and cheery and all of the amenities perfect for our needs. We were pleased that it overlooked the beautiful pool area and the ocean view was great. We also appreciated the availability of internet so that we could stay in touch with family and work. We found that the location in Kihei was very central to all of attractions on the island and within easy driving distance. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay with you again should we return to Maui. Take care, Hello Ingrid Thank you very much for the use of your Kihei condos. We very much enjoyed both stays. Both units have advantages. The Village by the Sea condo, although a little away from the centre of Kihei is a very fine unit, beautifully appointed, and in our respectful opinion, the nicer of the two. The Hale Kameole is also a very fine unit and has the advantage of being closer to the centre of Kihei, being near some very attractive parks and beaches. From there, we spent a lot of time on Kam. I, II or III, swimming, on the beach, and watching the sunsets. In summary, your condos were a great find and we'll certainly recommend them to our friends.
All the best, Dear Ingrid, I composed a wonderful thank you letter on Sunday and when I went to send it, Telus crashed. We had a delightful time in #307. It was perhaps the best view we have ever had on our many trips to Kihei. The weather was in the high 80's F the entire 12 days and no rain at all. The A/C in in your unit was a blessing as it works instantly, thus not needing it all the time. Also, having two Lanai's is fabulous as one can have the beautiful view wherever you sit. I noticed that your unit is one of the only ones that has a large table on the Lanai and we ate every meal outside. We had huge tradewinds from noon until 7PM every day and it was fun to watch grown men cry when trying to light the BBQ's. The trick is to watch the "men" try and light them, wait for them to heat up and then run like hell to cook our meal before they turned the BBQ off. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were always cleaning up. The little putting green and shuffleboard area are an asset. A tractor went over the beach every day cleaning up weeds etc. and that made the beach much nicer. We were pleased to see a night security guard on the premises, in fact he assisted us in finding our unit in the dark. For your infomation an actual owner I was talking to one day advised so many people are parking in the wrong space, management has been > ticketing and towing cars. Might I suggest you explain to your guests where your parking stall is located as the numbering system is not in order. Your spot is so easy to find once one locates it. The security guard had to look at the numbers with his flashlight to find it for us. The kitchen is very functional. A couple of glasses broke in the dishwasher so we bought you a new set, along with a new BBQ fork as the handle on the one there was broken. We left behind some cushions for the outdoor chairs. We also left some extra BBQ replacement fuel cells. I wish to thank you for allowing us to rent your unit #307 and we will certainly be in touch with you when we next travel to Maui. Also, we rented a car from Aloha Rent a Car 1 (877) 452-5642 and they were most helpful and very reasonable. They set our car aside at the airport with maps directing us right to your complex. They are not new cars but it worked perfectly and the staff were so helpful. We also received the damage deposit. Thanks again. It was so easy and such a pleasure dealing with you. Thanks again for letting use your beautiful unit #307.

Good Morning Ingrid, We have returned from our Hawaii holiday - it was great to enjoy 2 islands - everything was so beautiful. We enjoyed the location of Village by the Sea and the easy way to get around to all other sites on the island. We were pleased with the size of the condo and the beautiful view ! It was great to have the "special" little things to use - the coolers - lawn chairs - etc - great quantity of towels/linens etc - will certainly recommend the unit. Thanks again - take care

The condo was very convenient and tastefully decorated. Your new TV stand arrived late on Christmas Eve, and I thought you might enjoy seeing a photo of it. Our son and friends joined us, as you know, for our second week. We had wonderful weather, and enjoyed the beaches, several wonderful restaurants, and just being together in beautiful Maui. And the view from the lanai was breathtaking. We were married on a beach in Makena. The weather was looking a little ominous in the morning but by that evening it had settled down. By the time of the ceremony, there was a slight breeze and a beautiful sunset. I couldn't have asked for any better. Thank you again for the use of your condo. It was wonderful.

We had a wonderful vacation made possible by the very convenient location of this condo. On past trips we stayed further north and had to drive much further to highlights like Mt. Haleakala and the road to Hana. This location shaved 40 minutes off most of our day trips. In addition, we enjoyed having so many restaurants and beautiful beaches within close distance. The 180 degree ocean and mountain view was incredible and we enjoyed morning walks along the beach in front of the condo. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the condo and the upkeep of the external grounds and pool area. The landscaping was beautiful! The picnic cooler came in handy many times and we especially liked the Hawaiian scented hand soap. The condo had everything we needed and we can't wait to return for another trip! Ingrid, Tami and I had a very nice, relaxing time in Maui. Your condo was like a home away from home. Thank you for letting us rent it. Unfortunately, we must go back to work so that we can do this again sometime and Michigan is about 10-20 degrees (F) cooler than normal. Oh well.

Hi Ingrid I wanted to thank you very much for allowing my daughter and I to stay in the #523 condo in Maui. As I had said before, I haven't been on a vacation for 20 years + and the same for my daughter. We so loved the island and your condo was perfect. Unfortunately the time was too short. We met so many lovely people every where we went. The wedding was more than beautiful and I am so thankful I was able to attend my nephew's wedding. We were able to see the whales and their babies. We were mesmerized by the sunsets and enjoyed the birds which came every day on the balcony. My daughter met your upstairs neighbour with her cockatiel - both were very friendly. We met so many people from Canada. So friendly to talk with. I loved using the barbeque in the courtyard. It was fun gathering around with other people and just chatting and enjoying our surroundings. We are saving our money very diligently to. Thank you again for our memories.

This was our second visit to Maui and both times we’ve stayed in Kihei, which is a great area for fun and relaxation but a short drive to the action if that’s what you want. The condo was great – everything you need to make your stay restful. The beach was so wonderful – not crowded, wonderful views both morning and evening. This was the perfect location for our 2nd wedding anniversary and my surprise vow renewal ceremony for my husband. Village by the Sea is in a great location! It didn't take us long to get to anywhere we wanted to go. One of the highlights was being right there at what appeared to be our own private beach. We went out there every day at least for a few minutes to take in the incredible view, and there was never more than a handful of people around if even that. We felt like we were in our own secluded paradise. The condo itself had a refreshing island feel. The sunsets from the lanai were incredible and I used my camcorder to record a complete sunset so we could remind ourselves of how great it was... and to torment our friends/family who haven't had the experience. Rest assured, we will certainly stay at one of your condos again!!!
